Next Concert:

On November 19, 2005, Golden Hill Concert Series will kick off its 6th year of concerts with a special appearance by our host's hot five-member band, Dusk & Sky.

Dusk and company will present originals from his two CD albums, a pair of new songs from Dusk's upcoming third CD album, and great covers by John Prine, Bruce Cockburn, Townes Van Zandt, and more.

Sometimes presenting songs of outrageous fun, other times delving into poetic muse, Dusk & Sky will cover many genres including: Driving Cajun, Folk Rock, Country, Rockabilly, Latin Groove, Improv Swing, and Story Songs.

Dusk sings lead vocals and plays acoustic guitar and chorded zither; Sandy Horton adds Godin synth guitar and 6-string acoustic; Jay Bebee takes his place at the drums; Lynn Horton plays electric bass guitar; and Alan Hall wails on diatonic harmonica.

Come join the celebration... kick off Golden Hill's 6th year of concerts, and bring in the holiday season in high style with Dusk & Sky on Saturday, November 19, at 8 PM.

See below for details on location and on reserving tickets....

Smithville Village is located at Mile Marker #40 overlooking Hwy. 365 between the towns of Gainesville and Baldwin, GA.

Golden Hill Concert Series is held within Smithville's venerable 1887 Country Store, which is lined with fascinating relics of the 19th and 20th century, but which offers climate control, delicious fresh-made food, paved parking... in other words, all the best of both today and yesteryear.

Adjacent to our venue in Smithville Country Store are such wonders as an 1840 Log Smokehouse, a tiny Wedding and Vow Renewal Chapel, a 1909 Town Pavillion/Gazebo, the Smithville Gallery of fine antiques and new home furnishings, The Log Cabin Ice Cream Parlor Cafe, The Loft Restaurant, and a variety of patios and wrap-around porches from which to sit and enjoy an exceptional view of North Georgia sunsets.

Call 706 778-5709 now to save by reserving seats (advance seats cost only $10/adult, $5/pre-teens) for this special show... or purchase tickets ahead of time by visiting Smithville Village (Tuesday-Saturday 9-5)... or simply join us at the door on the evening of October 8 for fine music, fun, and fellowship. "At the door" tickets are $12 & $6.
